Course: 2 days
Level: Basic
Objective: Learn the essential basics for creating drawings using AutoCAD
Curriculum:
The AutoCAD interface
Setting up new drawings
Drawing with precision (Grid, Snap, Ortho, Osnap)
Using coordinate systems
Creating objects, the basic drawing commands
Editing commands
Zooming/panning

AutoCAD Level 2

Course: 2 days
Level: For those who have completed the Level 1 course, or have equivalent knowledge
Objective: Learn about advanced drawing and editing techniques, layouts with paper space, objects with attributes
Curriculum:
Calculating areas
Creating, editing, exporting attributes
Using XRefs
Using raster images
Using paper space, creating layouts

AutoCAD 2009/2010 Update Course

Course: 1 day if updating from 2006 or 2007, 2 days from 2005 and earlier versions
Level: Intermediate, Current AutoCAD users
Objective: Learn AutoCAD 2009/2010's new functions and enhancements
Curriculum:
AutoCAD 2009/2010's goal is increasing productivity. Learn about the new features such as the ribbon, ViewCube and SteeringWheels, and the action recorder that automates tasks, all without programming.

AutoCAD 3D Course

Course: 2 days
Level: Advanced; 2D AutoCAD drafting skills required
Objective: Learn to create 3D models and presentation quality renderings
Curriculum:
Creating solid objects
Using UCS as a 3D drawing aid
Using 3D VPOINT
Creating a composite solid (Union, Subtract, Intersect)
Editing in 3D (Rotating, Fillet, Chamfer, Slice)

AutoCAD Map 3D Course

Course: 2 days
Level: For those who have completed the Level 1 course, or have equivalent knowledge
Objective: Learn the fundamentals of AutoCAD Map 3D 2010 and how to create, edit, manage, and analyze mapping data.
Curriculum:
Setting up AutoCAD Map
Link and manage drawing attribute data
Visualization and styling
Creating and editing geometry
Analyzing data using queries, topology, spatial analysis
